Images of Intersectionality was created with a simple goal in mind: informing the Knoxville, TN community about intersectionality through engagement and photography. As time has passed, I have realized that this project can reach far beyond Knoxville and have a far and lasting impact.

The Images of Intersectionality event will be held on September 27, 2019 from 6-9pm at the Central Collective in Knoxville, TN. The event will include an art show consisting of black and white photos and a discussion with Delegate Danica Roem, one of the first openly transgender legislators in the United States. The event is free and open to the public.

This blog will post some of the photos that have been taken along the way, information regarding intersectionality, updates on events that we will be attending and opportunities for you to have your photo taken, and posts that facilitate discussion regarding intersectionality.
